Hello and welcome to Walldorado!

My name is Yury Bertgran, I am the owner and CEO of Sverus International, the company behind the Walldorado web shop. My story started in 1995 – with a university degree in economic history, love for wall decoration, and little chance to find a proper job, I was looking for opportunity allowing to combine my vocational skills with personal affections and individual freedom, while securing decent living standards. Where can one find such a dream job? Well, the answer to my “where” was instant and quite straightforward – most probably, nowhere, until I decided to place by site lack of experience and eventual financial risks, and to create the dream job myself! 

Determined to make the best of the situation, I started a trading company called Sverus International, specializing in international trade with wall decoration products, primarily wall murals and canvas prints.

From the very onset, our strategy has been to effectively capitalize on the steady growing demand for wall decorating products by constantly adapting our range to the changes in interior design trends and by offering carefully selected and aesthetically attractive products, in combination with top quality material, state-of-art printing technology, and affordable pricing.

Having reached the twenty-five-year mark, we are very satisfied about what we have been able to achieve as a company, and we are proud to say that we are still growing and evolving! Today, our product line consists of more than 12 000 wall décor products, from wall murals to canvas prints and decorative room dividers. With another 1500 articles which we plan to introduce in the course of 2022, we are excited to provide our Swedish and international customers with an all-embracing shopping experience, a real one-stop shop for all their wall decoration needs! 

Here are the most important milestones on our way:
1995 - business partnership is inaugurated with Scandecor, the Uppsala-based, a pioneer of the European wall decoration market
1999 - the first web shop, offering wall murals to the North American public, is set
2004 - business partnership is inaugurated with W+G, one of the oldest European wall décor companies, with Sverus International acting both as a reseller and market promoter in Eastern and Northern Europe
2019 - business partnership started with Dimex, one of the leading Czech wallpaper and wall murals company, with Sverus assigned the responsibility over planning and execution of Dimex on- and offline expansion in Europe
2020 -  start of our new, in-home created, collection of photo wall murals – Wall4Soul - which is expected to include over two thousand original products as well as curated sub-collections, such as, for instance, "Masters of Art" murals
